The information provided in this course is exclusively for use in providing Mental Health First Aid. It is not intended to be and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional mental health advice. Certified people are called Mental Health First Aiders.

Certification or accreditation as Mental Health First Aider does not authorise or capacitate any First Aider to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, provide counselling, or therapy, prescribe any medication or provide training, or act as an expert on the mental health field.
