Overall Campaign Details

Welcome to the MHFA India Suicide Prevention Campaign, an impactful initiative aimed at bringing real change to our communities. Starting on September 1st, 2024, we invite all MHFA Aiders, the public, and organizations to take part in this crucial effort to prevent suicide.

The Campaign’s Objective:

The goal of this campaign is both simple and powerful Each day, reach out to one or more people to discuss suicide prevention. Whether you’re talking to a friend, a colleague, or even a stranger, your conversation has the potential to make a significant difference. To guide you, the campaign is divided into four weeks, each featuring a specific task. Each task includes a conversation statement and relevant conversation materials that you can download from the task page.

Weekly Tasks:

The campaign is structured over four weeks, with four tasks, Each week, you’ll be provided with a unique conversation statement designed to help you initiate meaningful discussions about suicide prevention. Alongside these statements, you’ll find relevant conversation materials, available for download next to each task page. These resources are tailored to support your daily interactions and ensure that you’re well-equipped to offer the right support as an MHFAider.

Engage and Share:

As you participate in these daily conversations, we encourage you to share your journey. Each week, post your progress on social media, using the sample collaterals provided at the bottom of the campaign page. Don’t forget to tag us in your posts (Social media links given below)! By sharing your experiences, you’ll not only showcase your commitment but also act as a catalyst for someone else to follow the same.

How to Get Started:

Step 1: Sign Up

Click the signup button on the right side of the campaign explanation Video to register for the MHFA India Suicide Prevention Campaign.

Step 2: Begin Engaging Daily

Once registered, start daily conversations (Week 1 to Week 4) about suicide prevention with those around you. Use the weekly statements provided to guide your discussions.

Step 3: Download Necessary Materials

For each weekly task, download the relevant conversation materials provided on the task page. These resources will help you effectively complete the tasks.

Step 4: Complete the Weekly Tasks

Engage in the specified conversations each week by clicking the respective links below, using the provided statements and materials to support your discussions.

Step 5: Share Your Results

After completing each task, post your progress on social media. Use the sample collaterals available on the campaign page to showcase your success.

Step 6: Tag #MHFAIndia

Make sure to tag us in your social media posts so we can recognize your efforts and amplify your impact.
